To create a role, follow these steps:

Log in with an administrator user account and go to the "Process Administrator" menu page.

In the "Process Administrator," locate the "Security" section and click on the link that will take you to the "Roles" administrator.

Once you are in the "Roles" administrator, you have two options to create a new role:

  • The first option involves clicking the "New" button to open and complete the new role creation form. This form requires you to enter four fields:

    • Name: the name to be given to the role.

    • Role Code: an identifier for the role (usually the same as the role name).

    • Default Page: the default home page assigned to this role.

    • Priority: the level of relevance of this role compared to other roles, especially for users with multiple assigned roles.

  • The second option is to expand the list of actions from an equivalent standard role to the one you want to create and select the action "Clone Role". In this case, you only need to enter the name of the new role.
