What is LMS?

It is an e-learning or online teaching platform that allows for the creation and management of personalized learning environments.

What is E-learning?

It is a learning tool that enables a company to publish supplementary information such as general interest topics, employee training courses, tutorials, product information, branding, lifestyle, among others.

3. Key Features

• Online Help: These are tips that assist consultants with informative content to enhance their usability knowledge of various modules.

• Checklist Guides for Goals, Commissions, etc.: A list of consultant training activities designed to help them achieve their goals and contribute to their ongoing development.

• E-learning (LMS): This functionality is focused on the training of all company personnel and salespeople, enabling them to enhance their performance and progress in various company processes.

4. Conditions

For the proper utilization of the software functionalities, it is necessary to have previously defined technical and/or business elements such as:

• Brand Manual: Define the structure, design themes, logo, appropriate brand usage, and typographic styles to include and maintain the company's essence and philosophy in the academy.

• Content Plan: Define the focus and necessary objectives to be covered in the content.

• Define Goals and Commissions Program: The company must have a clear and defined plan for how and when sales commissions will be paid.

• Define Training Content for Personnel: Establish content for salesforce training, including videos, images, text, etc.

6.3. Module Configuration

6.3.1. Online Help

Online help enables the provision of instructions and clarification regarding the processes to be carried out, addressing user queries, and providing additional information to enhance the user's understanding of the system.

Furthermore, this administrator allows for the creation, modification, and deletion of the configured manual. To create online help, the following prerequisites must be in place:

• System languages.

The manuals are represented by a question mark icon located at the top of each module. Clicking on this icon will display the manuals created for that specific module.

6.3.2. File Upload

File upload is a functionality that assists companies in uploading information for their clients, salesforce, or specific groups.

In this feature, you can upload files such as:

• Templates

• Invoices

• Customer document information

6.3.3. Pending/Checklists

The checklist module allows the user to organize and manage their pending tasks across different modules. This way, the user can keep track of the steps they need to complete in each module and mark those that have already been done.

6.3.4. E-learning (Moodle)

6.3.4.1. Create Course

PATH: Site Administration - Courses - Manage Courses and Categories.

In this administrator, courses and categories are created. To create the course, it is essential to do the following:

Access the create course button.

You enter the course name, an abbreviation of the course name, and select the category, which is currently 'Royal Academy'.

It is essential that the description field is filled in with the following information, as this is what allows the lesson names to appear in an accordion format on the Moodle detail screen. Here, you basically enter the names of the lessons:

When you are in the description, access the HTML editor.

And you should enter this example code:

6.3.4.2. Creating a Trivia Quiz

Access the course page and enable editing.

Go to the option to add an activity.

Select the quiz type.

Choose the desired type of activity.

6.3.4.3. Course Reports

6.3.4.3.1. Course Activity Report

A course activity report, which shows the number of views for each activity (and any related blog entries), can be viewed by managers, teachers, and non-editing teachers (and any other user with the capability report/outline:view) under Navigation > Courses > My course > Reports > Activity Report.

6.3.4.3.2. Individual Activity Report

If activity reports are enabled for a course in the course settings, each course participant can access reports about their contributions, such as forum posts or assignment submissions, logs, and statistics reports.

6.3.4.3.3. Complete Report

The complete report helps instructors view a detailed list of an individual student's recent log and activity in Moodle activities and resources in their course, including detailed contributions to any of the different types of course activities. Activities and resources are displayed in the same order as on the course's main page. It may resemble a student's portfolio in a specific course.

6.3.4.4. Grader Report

The grader report collects items that have been graded from various parts of Moodle that are assessed, allowing you to view and modify them, as well as organize them into categories and calculate totals in various ways. When you add an assessed item in a Moodle course, the gradebook automatically creates space for the grades it will produce and also adds the grades themselves as soon as they are generated, either by the system or by you.

6.3.4.5. Moodle Navigation

Navigation is set up with each course that is created, and each one is assigned an ID that must be concatenated to the following URL: /course/view.php?id=63

Once you have the desired URLs, follow the path: [Specify the path here].

At the bottom of the page, there is a field to add menu options, and the syntax is the same for all options to add:

6.3.4.6. Moodle and Joomla Integration

6.3.4.6.1. Displaying Courses in Joomla

Home

The home page is a static page created in SP Page Builder, so the content can be changed frequently as per the client's requirements. To access and edit it, you should go to the administrator, and the page is named "Moodle Home:

Course Summary

The default Joomla screens have poor visibility, so the PHP code of the detail located at /html/com_joomdle/detail/default.php was modified. Furthermore, for this accordion to work, the course description format specified during the course creation documentation above must be in place.

Course Content

Just like the overview screen, the PHP was modified to display the courses as desired by the client. The file can be found at /html/com_joomdle/course/default.php. Regarding the accordion feature, there is a Joomla module that provides the expand/collapse functionality.

6.3.4.7. Single Sign-On (SSO)

Currently, the Joomla and Moodle systems can be integrated through a component called Joomle, which serves as an intermediary to make it possible to view the content loaded into Moodle from Joomla. This tool offers the advantage that courses or content display becomes more dynamic because Joomla is more visually flexible than Moodle.

Thanks to this plugin, every time you log in to Joomla, it connects directly to the user's account in Moodle.

7. Detailed Scope

The training is designed to enable salespeople to train themselves, engage in self-learning processes, and personal growth, thus becoming self-sufficient in their management.

7.1. Online Help

Online help allows for the provision of information about a specific module's process through instructional guides, clarifying user doubts and providing additional information to deepen the understanding of the module's functionality within the system.

Manuals are represented by a question mark icon located at the top of each module.

These online helps are defined and created by each company based on what they believe to be the most representative and important for their clients' self-management and self-service, thereby reducing cases generated for customer service.

7.2. Checklist Guides for Goals, Commissions, etc.

Providing clear procedures to new consultants in the form of checklists is very beneficial so they can progressively achieve and strengthen their business.

These checklist guides can be configured for consultants to follow until they complete the assigned goals that contribute to their training process.

Checklist guides can be configured in:

• Initial Steps

• Within the objectives or goals dashboard

• On the commissions screen

• On the events screen

7.3. Knowledge Base

Another way to train the salesforce is through user files, which the personnel can access in their Backoffice. Among the files that the company can upload to the system are:

• Training videos

• Brochures or marketing materials for promoting their businesses.

• Files containing sales tips, negotiation techniques, etc.

7.4. E-learning (Moodle)

S4DS offers two comprehensive options for training our clients' sales force. These structured training options include:

• Courses on various topics.

• Lessons in different formats (presentations, texts, images, videos)

• Assessments and/or quizzes

• Access through Single Sign-On (SSO)

• Progress and course tracking reports

7.4.1 S4 Academy

The S4 Academy is a complete platform of courses created directly by S4DS, covering various topics to teach our clients' sales force how to sell through digital media.

The courses are designed for users who have no prior knowledge of digital sales and can start from scratch. There are also courses for individuals with intermediate knowledge to enhance their skills.

S4DS provides these training sessions through a self-managed user mode or a mixed option, which includes guided classes with experts in social selling (digital sales), along with a self-learning process.

All of this is done through a Moodle platform where all courses, sessions, and assessments are structured.

7.4.2 Learning Management System (LMS)

S4DS also allows for the creation of a comprehensive learning system where your entire sales force can access, interact, and learn about specific topics that the company wants them to reinforce.

The difference with the S4 Academy is that, in this option, the client is the owner and creator of the learning platform's content.

Courses and lessons are created by the client according to the needs identified in their sales force, and these contents can be created in the form of presentations, videos, images, or any preferred format.

Course assessments can be in traditional formats but also in more innovative formats that incorporate "gamification" concepts to create a stronger connection with the users interacting with the platform.

The Moodle system, where all courses, lessons, and assessments are set up, is integrated with a Content Management System (CMS) that allows the learning site to be designed and customized to be visually appealing and provide an intuitive user experience.

The company has the option to offer various forms of training to educate network members through the E-learning platform with access to online courses. Furthermore, the company can monitor the progress of the salesforce as they complete the content.

The content of the E-learning platform, based on Moodle, allows training teams the flexibility to present audiovisual content, documents, images, assessments, etc.

The key aspect of the academy is the content structure that the company can define:

  • Releasing others only after certain ones are completed.

This content is accessible by entering the academy with administrator permissions and accessing one of the existing courses or creating a new one. From there, you can easily edit or add content using the buttons that appear.

Create Course

In this administrator, courses and categories are created. To create a course, it is essential to do the following:

Click on the "Create Course" button.

You enter the course name, an abbreviation of the course name, and select the category, which for now is "Royal Academy."

Course Reports
